Molly Renshaw burst onto the national scene in 2011 when, as a 14-year-old, she won the 200m breaststroke bronze medal at the British Championships in Manchester, then silver in the same event at the ASA National Championships later in the season.
She also made her junior and senior international debuts in the same season, winning 200m Breast Stroke bronze at her first European Junior Championships then placing 20th at the World Championships in Shanghai.
After narrowly missing out on a place at the London 2012 Olympics, Molly picked herself up and returned to the European Junior Championships in 2012, winning 200m Breaststroke gold in Antwerp.
A pair of silvers at the 2013 and 2014 British Champs was followed by an impressive return to the international stage as she won 200m Breaststroke bronze on her Commonwealth debut for England at Glasgow 2014 then silver in the same event on her European Championship debut in Berlin a month later.
This year promises to be bright for Molly given her sensational end to 2015, where she picked up three gold medals and one silver at the ASA’s winter meet in Sheffield, breaking two British records along the way and rising to second in the world rankings, and all the signs point to her waves at the Rio Olympics this summer.Tweets by @MollyRenshaw
