With his powerful voice, it is no surprise that since he broke into the mainstream back in 2014, after winning Britain’s Got Talent as part of Collabro, Richard Hadfield has won fans around the world.
Competing as part of Collabro, a five-piece band specialising in musical theatre, Richard and the rest of the band took a 26% share of the final vote – the highest ever winning percentage.
Richard wowed the viewers at home as well as the show’s judges, Simon Cowell, Alesha Dixon, David Walliams and Amanda Holden, with his peerless performances.
Since winning the show, Richard has enjoyed great success, including getting a recording contract with Simon Cowell’s SYCO label, a number one debut album as well as the opportunity to perform at a whole host of prestigious events including the Royal Variety Show. Richard has also shared the stage with some of the industry’s biggest names including One Direction, Alfie Boe and Ed Sheeran.
An experienced performer, Richard is now pursuing a solo career as a swing artist, putting his own interpretation on classic hits by some of music’s biggest names including Michael Jackson and Rihanna.
As well as enjoying a successful career within music, Richard has also appeared in a blockbuster movie; Simon Pegg and Nick Frost’s hit movie The World’s End, professional stage productions as well as playing the principal role in Les Misérables, as Jean Valjean in one of the country’s leading youth theatre companies.
An accomplished live performer, Richard has also appeared on a wide range of TV channels including BBC, ITV, QVC and Sky as well as countless interviews for local and national radio stations, including Kiss and Heart.
Richard is now exclusively available for a range of events including vocal performances, media appearances and brand endorsements.
